1. Purpose

Bolty is a mobile application for AI-powered personalized running coaching. These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the Bolty service.

3. Acceptance of the Terms

Using the Bolty application implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the application.

By creating an account, you also confirm that you have read our privacy policy.

4. Description of the Service

Bolty offers the following features:

  • Import and automatic analysis of running activities (via Strava, Garmin Connect and Apple Health)
  • Personalized AI analysis of each activity (effort, progress, recommendations)
  • AI-generated adaptive training plans
  • Built-in GPS tracking to record a run from your phone, no watch needed
  • Progress tracking and run history
  • Training reminder notifications

5. Registration and Account

  • Registration is available via email/password or through Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In.
  • The minimum required age is 16 years old.
  • The user is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.
  • Only one account per person is allowed.

6. Subscription and Billing

  • Bolty operates on a freemium model: certain premium features are accessible through a paid subscription.
  • Payments are managed exclusively by Apple through the App Store (In-App Purchase).
  • Renewal, cancellation and refund terms are governed by Apple's terms and conditions.
  • Bolty does not collect or store any payment data.
  • RevenueCat is used as a technical intermediary for subscription management.

7. AI-Generated Content — Disclaimer

  • Analyses, advice and training plans are generated by artificial intelligence.
  • This content is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
  • It does not in any way constitute medical advice, a diagnosis, or a medical prescription.
  • You should consult a healthcare professional before starting or modifying a training program, especially if you have a medical condition.
  • Bolty disclaims all liability for injury, aggravation of an existing condition, or any damage resulting from the use of AI recommendations.
  • The AI may produce inaccurate results or results that are unsuitable for your specific situation.

8. Third-Party Connections and GPS Tracking (Strava, Garmin Connect, Apple Health)

  • You voluntarily connect your third-party accounts to Bolty.
  • Bolty accesses Strava in read-only mode (scope activity:read_all).
  • Bolty accesses Garmin Connect in read-only mode via OAuth 2.0.
  • You can revoke access at any time from within the application.
  • The built-in GPS tracking requires access to your device's location. This access is granted through the operating system's permissions and can be revoked at any time.
  • Bolty is not responsible for service interruptions on third-party platforms.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The Bolty application, its design, code and content are the property of Robin Baret.
  • AI-generated analyses are made available to the user for personal use only.
  • Activity data remains the property of the user.

10. User Responsibilities

By using Bolty, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information (profile, age, weight, level).
  • Not use the application for unlawful purposes.
  • Not attempt to compromise the security of the service.
  • Comply with the terms of use of connected third-party platforms (Strava, Garmin Connect, Apple Health).

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Bolty is provided "as is", with no guarantee of permanent availability.
  • Bolty does not guarantee the accuracy of AI analyses or training plans.
  • Bolty's liability is limited to the subscription amount paid over the last 12 months.
  • Bolty excludes all liability for indirect damages.

12. Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from the application (Profile > Delete my account).
  • Bolty reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these Terms.
  • Deletion results in the permanent erasure of all your data (see privacy policy).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the competent courts shall be those of the publisher's place of residence.

14. Changes to the Terms

Bolty reserves the right to modify these Terms. In case of substantial changes, you will be notified via an in-app notification or by email.
